There are lots of different types and styles of rabbit cages that you can find in pet store. From small to multi-unit and multilevel But if you plan to build a rabbit cage, here are some information’s about making a simple one and you will satisfy with it
1. Before you make a indoor rabbit cage, make sure that you have a good design. If you are still not sure with yours, do not hesitate to ask to nearest local pet store to get the good supplies and great design idea. It is very important because your bunny will not stay for a while. So make it properly and lets your lovely bunny more comfortable using it.
2. Decide how big a rabbit cage you want to build. Make sure the indoor rabbit cageis big enough to move around, play and hop freely. The indoor rabbit cage should be at least four times the rabbit’s length. Then measure the materials like wood, wire and roofing materials. Before working, prepare tools and safety gloves to protect you fingers and make sure you work carefully and slowly.
3. Cut the plywood become two and should be the same size for walls. You also need plywood for floor. Joint them together with hammer and nail carefully . The two other sides of the cage, you can apply with cage wire material. Twist the wires around the base of the plywood. There are no shape edges on the wires cause can injure your bunny. Add a door for you rabbit in front of your indoor rabbit cage (optionally).
4. If you find the walls are not tall enough, you need to put a piece of cardboard. Cut it for roof to avoid your rabbit escapes.
5. If anything fix properly, place soft material inside the rabbit cage, including a bowl of food and water feeder. Put a small box in a corner where rabbit to soil.. It is like a potty training area.
6. Keep the indoor rabbit cage clean and tidy. You should clean it regularly and if you like, decorate it for special day.
Now you have a simple rabbit cage. It is not difficult, is it?
